About Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek

Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is a kind of classic trek of Nepal. Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek also known as Strenuous Camping Trek begins from the foothills of the Himalayas and it goes thoroughly up unfolding beauties of varied landscapes. The trekking routes of Dhaulagiri pass through two big mountains located above 5000m i.e 5360-meter French pass and the 5200-meter Thapa pass. The view of Dhaulagiri gradually appears which gets closer every day as you keep on moving up. There are various things to witness in the coffer of Dhaulagiri like French Col, the Hidden Valley, and Dhampus. Besides Dhaulagiri, the view of Annapurna Massif in the west and Manaslu will capture your heart. The scenic beauty witnessed here in Dhaulagiri Base Camp is not expressed in words but simply realized. The specialty of the Dhaulagiri Round Trek is that it gives an opportunity to view 15 mountains of over 7000 meters including Putali Himal, Tukuche Peak, and Dhaulagiri Peak itself.

Annapurna Dhaulagiri Panorama Trek

Dhaulagiri Round Trek is an amazing & remarkable experience of life that passes through alpine terrain. In comparison to other treks of Nepal especially Annapurna Region Trekking, Dhaulagiri Trek is a more physical and challenging adventure trek as it tests trekkers' stamina and endurance. Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp is a fully tented camp trek that gives you the unforgettable experience of a lifetime adventure trekking in the Nepal Himalayas.

Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek Best Time

Regulus suggests trekkers experience Dhaulagiri Round Trek between September to December and from May to mid-June. This is because during this time the Dhaulagiri trekking trail is snow free and the trekkers get astounding views of various mountains. At other times challenging Dhaulagiri could be dangerous because Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is a totally challenging adventurous trek in Nepal.

Round Dhaulagiri Trek Difficulty

Falling of rocks sometimes makes the trail of the Dhaulagiri trek very challenging. The rocks fall like missiles from the top of the cliffs and the trekkers walk below the cliff. Regulus again suggests not to go for Dhaulagiri Trek during monsoon because rock falling is frequent at this time.
