Hilsa is the starting point of Limi Valley from where the longest river of Nepal 'Karnali' gets enter to Nepal border.The trek is rewarding as it offers chance to see Saipal (7031m), Byas Rishi, Api, Kanjirowa, Kanti, Gorakh Himalayas and Tibetan Himalayas like Mt. Kailash and Gorlamdanda. The Manasarovar Lake is cherry at the top of the trek .Trekking to Limi Valley also offers to visit 800 years old monasteries with their own historical values ,trekkers also get the chance to know the living styles,the traditions & the Tibetan culture of the people living in Limi Valley which are conserved & secured better than across the border..

The destination is popular for its flora and fauna. The region inhabits marmot, wolf, wild yak, blue sheep, wild horse, barking deer, musk deer, hare, Himalayan black bear and snow leopard.

People of this part are descendant of Tibetan origin. They still follow Tibetan culture, tradition and rituals.There are just 3 villages in Limi Valley named Til (least populated only with 30 families & closest to the Tibet-China border), Halji (touches otherside border to Burlang, Tibet) & Jhang (Limi's largely populated village with more than 300 peoples). Halji and Gombayok are popular villages of this area.
