Guide and porter during the trek

Guide and porter make any trek in the Himalayas bearable with their support, and this goes for the Everest Base Camp luxury trek as well. Even though it is a luxury trek, the challenges are not less than the standard EBC trek. So, a guide and porter are needed for a safe and immersive trekking experience.

With expert knowledge about the guide, you will be navigating the trail safely and easily. Likewise, he will make you familiar with the local customs, beliefs, and region. You will have a friend to talk to who will make the journey delightful. Likewise, porters assist by carrying the heavy load (your duffel bag).

The EBC trail is not flat or easy. Navigating the trail requires focus and balance, and carrying a heavy bag on top of that increases the risk of injuries. So, porters carry them for you as they are trained and experienced. The guide and porter pair will also encourage you to complete the trek and become your sturdy support.
