Day 1: Kathmandu arrival day, half day sightseeing tour

A representative of Regulus Nepal will receive & greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu upon your arrival and will transfer you to the hotel. If you are fresh enough and not tired from the journey, taking a short break we will proceed to our sightseeing tour to Swaymbhunath (The Monkey Temple) & Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Swoyambhunath Stupa also known as The Monkey Temple is one of the world’s oldest Buddhist stupas atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley. The highlights of Kathmandu Durbar Square are Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar ( Home of Living Goddess).

In the evening, you can take a walk over Thamel which is also known as the main tourist hub of Nepal, and enjoy the evening. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

In the morning after taking breakfast, we will leave for our fishing trip to Balephi Khola from Kathmandu. We head to the Balephi bazaar. Along the way, we can view some renounced mountains from Dhulikhel. We follow the Araniko highway which lies banks of the river and cross the bazaar Banapa, Dhulikhel, Panchkhal, Dolalghat, Sukute, etc. on the way we take coffee in the cottage that lies near the Bhotekoshi River too. We follow the way to Jalbire from Balephi, after crossing 12 km Jalbire will arrive. After some rest, we start our fishing activities. Overnight at camp with local dinners.

Taking the morning meal we will move for angling. At some point, our group will appreciate angling and boating than go for lunch. Today we will have a characteristic taste of fish cooked in flame. After certain hours of fishing, we will back to Kathmandu.
