About Seti Karnali Fishing

Seti Karnali's river fishing trip starts from the river Seti that meets the river Karnali. The Seti River is 107 miles long, and Karnali is the largest and longest river in Nepal with a length of 507 kilometers. It flows in the Far-Western Region of Nepal. It is a much-gifted river of Nepal. Karnali inhabits different types of Gangetic-Dolphins, soft-shelled turtles, and Golden Mahseer fish among other species of fishes and aquatic animals.

Day 1: Kathmandu arrival day, half day sightseeing tour

A representative of Regulus Nepal will receive & greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu upon your arrival and will transfer you to the hotel. If you are fresh enough and not tired from the journey, taking a short break we will proceed to our sightseeing tour to Swaymbhunath (The Monkey Temple) & Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Swoyambhunath Stupa also known as The Monkey Temple is one of the world’s oldest Buddhist stupas atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley. The highlights of Kathmandu Durbar Square are Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar ( Home of Living Goddess).

In the evening, you can take a walk over Thamel which is also known as the main tourist hub of Nepal, and enjoy the evening. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

    We will fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (1 hour) and approximately 7 hours to Gopghat from Nepalgunj, which is put-in-point and we will set our camp near the bank of the Seti Karnali river. Overnight stay in tented camp.

    Today, your day starts with Rafting and fishing. You will then set up camp in the evening while you enjoy the fish that you caught.

    Full day fishing around Camp 1. We try fishing each and every corner around and there will be high chances of catching Golden Mahseer, Goonch, and Asala. Overnight at Camp 01’s tent

    After breakfast, we start rafting in a medium-level rapid until we reach Camp 3 in the late afternoon. In the nearby confluence of Seti and Budhi Ganga, we will do angling and in the evening we enjoy a campfire along with tasty dining with night fishing. Overnight in Camp 2.

    Today we raft in an isolated region for 3 hours and reach Scorpion Camp. Scorpion Camp. Overnight in Camp 3.

    Camp 3 has chances of catching Golden Masheer and Silver Masheer, Bokar, and giant catfish so for today whole day we will do fishing in camp 3.

    Today we will fish in the nearby area of Camp 4. After breakfast, we trek nearby areas in search of fish. Have some photo shoot with our catches and enjoy angling with several catches. Named after Masheer fish, Camp 4 and nearby areas have more golden and silver Masheer, catfish, and Himalayan trout. In the evening we enjoy campfire, snacks, and dinner along with angling at night to catch Goonch. Overnight in Masheer Camp.
