About Langtang Valley Trek

The Langtang region is very close to Kathmandu valley with Tibetan highlands and tranquil rustic landscape. The langtang valley trekking is one of the most well-liked trekking regions, due to a chance to walk through the area of Langtang National Park along with spectacular view of Mt. Langtag Ri, Langsisa, Langtang Himal and Ganja La peak.

This Langtang valley expedition will take you into the high mountain lakes like Gosainkunda and the striking Helambu Valley.  You start the trek to Langtang valley from Langtang village and continue to Kyangjin Gompa (3,740 m). This is the spot of the Yala Cheese Factory. The trek then passes through Nubamatang known as the gateway into Tibet. Then the expedition travel through Syabru and Sing Gompa to a high plateau where the sacred lake Gosainkunda is sited. From the Laurebena Pass (4610m), the journey continues south. Then the next move is from Helambu Valley to Gul Bhanjyang. From here a few days trek back to Kathmandu.
