UNESCO has identified World Heritages Sites as the places that belong to all people in the world. The heritage sites divided into two categories first one is Natural (nature gifted wonders) and another is Cultural (man-made wonders).There are many heritage sites in Nepal among them 10 are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Foreign tourist visiting heritage sites of Nepal have to pay certain entrance fee to get inside the area.

The foreign tourist visiting heritage sites of Nepal have to pay a certain entrance fee to get inside the area. The people of South Asian countries who are a member of SAARC have to pay less entrance fees in comparison to people from other countries. There are many heritage sites inside Kathmandu valley seven are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites and others are not but it’s worth visiting. The entrance fee for some of the different heritage sites inside Kathmandu valley (Capital city of Nepal) are listed below:

Pokhara Valley is the second largest valley in the hilly region of Nepal. It is located in Gandaki Zone, 203 km west of Kathmandu. The city is famous for its peaceful atmosphere and pristine charm. Pokhara also offers different heritage sites for its followers. To get inside the area you have to pay some amount but everything you pay for visiting heritage sites is worth it. Some of the famous heritage sites in Pokhara are listed below in the table.

Chitwan district is one of 77 districts of Nepal and it is located on the southwestern part of Bagmati Pradesh with Bharatpur fourth largest city of Nepal and its district headquarters. Chitwan has many sites to offer and one of the heritage sites enlisted in UNESCO is none other than the oldest national park the Nepal CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK. The foreign tourist visiting heritage sites of Nepal have to pay a certain entrance fee to get inside the area. Some of the sites that are offered by Chitwan are listed above in the table.

Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi District. It is the place where, according to Buddhist tradition, Queen Mahamayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama in 563 BCE. Gautama, who achieved Enlightenment after sometime around 528 BCE, became the Buddha and founded Buddhism. Lumbini has many other temples including Maya Devi temple. To get into the temples in the Lumbini entrance fee is required according to the tourist nationality. Among many heritage sites some of them are listed below:
