Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu (1300 m / 4264 ft)On the very first day of your arrival you will be received by a representative of Regulus and he will transfer you to hotel. If you are not exhausted by your journey then you can roam around Thamel and have mini refreshment. Overnight in a hotel
Day 02Kathmandu sightseeing From the second day of your arrival starts our trip mission. Today you visit Kathmandu, also known as city of temples with our guide. Basically there are four major touring sites in Kathmandu. They are: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhunath Stupa and and Bouddhanath Stupa. And the main part is these all four sites are listed in World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will be introduced to your guide by Regulus. You can have good conversation with him regarding the upcoming trip. You can enjoy the night life of Thamel which completely depends on your wish. Overnight in Thamel
Day 03Kathmandu to Jiri (187 km) drive The drive from Kathmandu to Jiri is around Seven hours covering the distance of 187 kilometers. Jirel people are known as the local people of Jiri. They follow cross cultural link with Sherpa and Sunuwar. Basically they are Tibeto-Burman.
Day 04Jiri to Deurali You will up climb till 2400m and then walk down towards Shivalaya. In between you see Tamang villages. To go vertically up towards Deurali you have to cross some wooden bridges. Different Mani walls are seen in Deurali. You spend a night at Deurali.
Day 05Deurali to Sete (2575m/8450 ft) Our next instant destination is Bhandara. Near to Bhandara you will encounter Sherpa village. Various prayer flags and Gompa are communal here. Crossing a suspension bridge ahead will get you to Kinja where the trail ahead is steep. Walking for some distance you reach Sete where we will break our day.
Day 06Sete to Junbesi (2670 m/8760 ft) Today you need to buck yourself up as it is a tough walk till Lamjura Bhanjyang. You will walk through jungle. Actually Lamjura Bhanjyang is a peak between Jiri and Namche Bazaar. Viewing remarkable Mt. Gaurishankar, Number Himal and Dudh Kunda we reach Junbesi. Overnight in Junbesi
Day 07Junbesi to Nunthala (2220m/7280 ft) Now the trail leads towards Khumbu Region by Crossing Junbesi Khola (River). We climb uphill. Some short glances of Everest are seen during our walk. Now we reach at a suspension bridge just above Dudh Khola. We happen to see various Mani walls and Buddhist Chorten on our route to Nunthala. Overnight in Nunthala
Day 08Nunthala to Kharikhola (2,020m) Today is a downhill walk till Dudh Koshi River. Passing through a Rai village we arrive at Jubling. A walk of around coupkle of hours takes us to Kharikhola. It is a place where we will halt at night.
Day 09Kharikhola to Puiyan (2,700m) Parting Kharikhola behind we happen to cross a suspension bridge. Climbing a steep hill takes us to Buspa. The route passes through Sherpa village. We follow temperamental route to arrive at Puiyan. Overnight in Puiyan
Day 10Puiyan to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft) Walking for about an hour we come to a ridge at an altitude of 2,800m. We move through Lukla airport alongside Dudh Koshi. We get an opportunity to see Mt. Nupla (5885m), Kusum Kangaru (6367m) and Mt. Kwongde range. Again travelling for around two hours leads us to Phakding village. Overnight in Phakding
Day 11Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m/11,280 ft) To reach Namche Bazaar we we need to follow the track of Dudh Koshi River. The current destination is Monjo which is an entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. After walking for some more time we arrive at Nmache Bazaar. Here we will get to know the local people and their unique culture. We will spend our night at Namche Bazaar.
Day 12Namche Bazaar(Acclimatization Day) Today is a day to have a rest. Just because it is day of acclimatization we do not stay quiet. We will come across to know the culture of Namche by exploring various places here. This day is necessary in order to adjust your body temperature so that you don’t fall sick during your trekking period. Today we will even visit Sagarmatha National Park.
Day 13Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft) Today is a day to challenge your body. We climb upwards and move above Dudh Koshi River. Moving higher we get to see the path towards Tengboche. The way is bounded by other Himalayas as well. We encounter different wildlife on our way such as Danfe (national bird of Nepal) which is very common in this region Now the track inclines downwards to Phunkitenga from Trashinga. It is time to have a lunch. We again go upwards crossing green forest to arrive at Tengboche. Tengboche looks extremely beautiful as it is mounted by hills and forests. We will spend our night here in Tengboche.
Day 14Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft) We again get back to our track. We move towards Dingboche crossing beautiful rhododendron forests, White Mountains and cool environment. It might be the best walk of your life as the journey gives you extreme pleasure. Overnight in Dingboche
Day 15Dingboche (Rest and Acclimatization Day) Again comes the day of acclimatization but we will go for short hiking. We will visit Dingboche Monastery and some small villages here. You get to encounter with the culture of this place and ofcourse you will meet Sherpa’s. The massive good looking view of of Mt. Everest, Amadablam, Lhotse, Tawache will make every tourist fall in love with this place.
Day 16Dingboche to Lobuche (4940 m/16,207 ft) Duglha is our next destination. We keep moving towards Khumbu Glacier. Walking with the view of Tawache and Choklaste takes you to Lobuche. Due to its geographical reason Lobuche is very cold. Overnight in Lobuche
Day 17Lobuche - Gorak Shep (5170 m/16,961ft) - Everest Base Camp (5364 m/17,594 ft)The day has finally arrived where your dream will come into existence. We move further towards Everest Base Camp (EBC). It is a ground place where mountaineers make themselves ready to climb the highest peak of the world, Mt. Everest, which measures 8,848. No words can describe the feeling of being here. It is really a majestic touch for making yourselves available here. In the noon we travel towards Gorakshep and spend our night.
Day 18Gorak Shep to Dzongla (4,710 m) Our instant destination is Kalapathhar. To witness the sunrise we get up early in the morning and head towards it. We walk through a vertical way which is somehow difficult. Kalapatthar is a rocky peak. The scenic sight from Kalapathhar will stick to your memory forever. For luch we will head towards Lobuche. Walking for some hours will take us to Dzongla.
Day 19Dzongla (4,710 m) to Chola Pass (5,300m) to Thangnak (4,500m) We wake up early in dawn to move towards Chola Pass. We follow the contracted trail which leads us to main glacier. From Cho La Pass we can see various pretty looking peaks such as Baruntse, Ama Dabalam and many more. Various cracks are found on the way so you need to be aware of the track. Inkling downwards takes us to Nymagawa Valley. To spend our night we move further to Thangnak which is few hours walk from here.
Day 20Thangnak to Gokyo Lake (4,790m) The present destination is Ngozumba glacier. Gokyo valley is seen so pure and classy from Ngozumba. Walking for around 45 minutes we will arrive at Goko Valley. We will halt at night here.
Day 21Rest day at Gokyo Lake (4,790m) Again the acclimatization day has come. We will relax today in order to adjust our body temperature with the increasing altitude. You can climb a short peak Gokya peak (5,360m) if interested. The awesome landscape is enough to cease your soul.
Day 22Gokyo to Renjo La Pass ( 5,420m) to Lungden (4380 m) Today we will move towards the north of Gokyo Lake. The trail today is challenging. The background view of Gokyo and mountains will leave you speechless. Moving further ahead takes us to Renjo Pass which lies at an altitude of 5,420m. We arrive at the peak of the pass. Looking backwards you get to encounter tower of Everest and Makalu. While coming down from the pass you need to be very careful. There is a glacial lake ahead. Moving forward for some distance we arrive at Lungden where we will spend our night.
Day 23Lungden – Thame After having our lunch we will walk down the Bhote Koshi River. We arrive at Marlung crossing Nangpa valley. The whole trail is sloping downward till we reach Tarang. We reach Thame and spend our night here.
Day 24Thame to Manjo While moving towards Bhote Khola you get to see various popular Buddhist rock painting. Himalayan Thar can be observed from here. We will walk to Thamo and spend some time there. Now we get back to Namche Bazaar. Crossing a suspension bridge we arrive at Dudh Koshi River. We will reach upto Jorsale and then return back to Monjo. Overnight in Monjo
Day 25Manjo to Lukla (2,860 m) You have been trekking for about a month. We climb towards the airport of Lukla and roam for some time here.
Day 26Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu Today is a day to get back to Kathmandu. We will catch a flight from Lukla. The air distance is about half an hour and you reach Kathmandu enjoying your glorious journey. You can even enjoy in Kathmandu for some time and roam around. In the evening the staff of Regulus will offer you a farewell dinner for successfully completing your trip.
Day 27Departure to your country Finally your Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trekking bids a good bye here. A representative of Regulus will drop you to airport few hours before your scheduled flight. See you again!
