Everest Three Passes Trek is the ultimate expedition for the seekers who are passionate adventurers. The 3 passes trek is the most challenging & adventurous trek in the Everest region as the trek will take you through the renowned three passes of Everest namely, Renjo La pass (5,340m/17,520ft), Cho La pass (5420m/17,782ft) and Kongma La pass (5,535/18,159 ft). Along with the famous three passes, the trek will also lead you to Everest Base Camp, Kalapathar, Sherpa village of Khumjung and also the immaculate turquoise waters of Gokyo Lake. The route takes trekkers to the Nangpa La Valley, the Sherpa village of Marlung and the monastery village of Thame.

This trek gives an outlook of the countryside Nepal. The flora and fauna and the culture that you notice while in this trek is fascinating. In around every 300 to 800m the vegetation changes here which you will notice while on the trek. You will be witnessing different species of rhododendron, at least 10.

Snow leopard, Himalayan black beer, musk deer, blue sheep are common wild species found here.

Another great attraction on the way is the Kalapatthar - a mountain of black rock. The Kalapatthar Top is one of the most sought after vantage point to see Mt. Everest. Although one has to cross three passes, there is no such technical climbing. So, any person with good fitness can enjoy the trek effectively.

The Journey of Everest High Passes trek begins with a sightseeing day in Kathmandu valley.  This includes a concise exploration of the temples, shrines, bazaars, and restaurants of Kathmandu. Next is mountain flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla. The following day treks up through the classic route to the Sagarmatha National Park with the mesmerizing view of the Dudh Koshi river.

After reaching the summit of Kongma La, the next move is towards the Everest Base Camp. The trek to the viewpoint of Kalapatthar is followed by the climb through Cho La. This climb takes to the turquoise lakes at Gokyo. Then the way towards the next great pass, the Renjo La. After a night in Marling via Nangpa La, the route move towards Thame. Following the route, the trip gets back to Lukla for a flight to Kathmandu.
