Besides, the trekking also acquaints you with the local lifestyle of people. Gurungs and Magar are local inhabitants of this area. They are registered as ethnic indigenous group of Nepal by the government. They have their unique identity and culture.
World had recognized Magar and Gurung as brave people. They are the people who fought bravely during Second World War in support to United Kingdom then. There are many Gurung and Magar who are honored by Victoria Cross (VC) from the Queen of England.
Their honest and bravery is an example to the world due to which Gorkha Regiment still exists in England and India.
Besides, the unique culture and tradition of these communities is also a matter of attraction in Annapurna Region. Their lifestyle and use of local wine in every traditional occasion fascinates many trekkers.

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)Welcome to Nepal! Upon your arrival in Kathmandu Regulus Treks & Expedition receives you at Tribhunvan International Airport and drive you to hotel. If your arrival is at appropriate time then you can enjoy leisurely walk in the streets of Thamel. It is a prime destination for foreigners. It is said that Kathmandu visit is incomplete without strolling in this part of the city. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 02Kathmandu sightseeing From the second day of your arrival starts our trip mission. Today you visit Kathmandu, also known as city of temples with our guide. Basically there are four major touring sites in Kathmandu. They are: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhunath Stupa and and Bouddhanath Stupa. And the main part is these all four sites are listed in World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will be introduced to your guide by Regulus. You can have good conversation with him regarding the upcoming trip. You can enjoy the night life of Thamel which completely depends on your wish. Overnight in Thamel
Day 03Drive to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft)We ride on Prithivi Highway along Trishuli River. The view is really nice. The scenic beauty of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) Mountain ahead of you simply symbolizes that you are about to approach the City of Lakes—Pokhara. You can spend your leisure time by walking in lakeside at the edge of Phewa Lake. It is really pleasure walk. We will spend night in a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 04Drive to Nayapul/Trek to Tikhedhunga (1495m) Early in the morning after breakfast we drive to Nayapul from Pokhara. It is around one and half hour journey. From here we start trekking towards Tikhedhunga. We cross Birethanti before arriving at Tikhedhunga. Here we put off at night.
Day 05Trek to Ghorepani (2,750m/9,020 ft) It is an interesting walk today. The stone stairs at Ulleri challenges your stamina. You step over more than 3000 stone stairs to arrive at Ghorepani. Ulleri inhabits Magar people. The trail crosses few streams before arriving at Nangethanti. We put sepnd overnight at Ghorepani.
Day 06Ghorepani-Poon Hill-Trek to Tadapani (2,700m/8,860ft)We wake up early in the morning because the essence of Poon Hill hike is to get sunrise view from this (Poon Hill) vantage point. From here you get clear view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountians. The beauty is so beautiful that will last throughout your life. After spending few hours here we get back to Ghorepani and lunch. Tadapani is our today’s last destination. We pass through rhododendron forests and picturesque view to arrive at Tadapani. Wet halt in Tadapani at night.
Day 07Trek to Ghandruk (1940m/6360 ft) It is a beautiful and easy walk today. We arrive at Ghandruk by noon. It is a village inhabited by Gurung people. They are regarded as brave people. There are many Gurungs who are honored with Victoria Cross (VC) by the British Government. You visit Gurung Museum here. We put off at Ghandruk.
Day 08Trek to Pothana Crossing few tea houses, green lush vegetation, streams and suspension bridge we arrive at Tolkha. We walk along Modi Khola River. We finally, arrive at Pothana. The view of Fishtail Mountain from here is really mesmerizing. We spen night here.
Day 09Trek to Pokhara Passing through rhododendron forests and stone paved path we arrive at Dhampus. It is a village inhabited by different ethnic groups. Now we follow downhill track to reach Phedi. From Phedi we catch private or public transport to be at Pokhara. You can enjoy rest of the time in Pokhara. We spend night in Pokhara.
Day 10Drive / Flight to Kathmandu Today after breakfast we either drive or fly to Kathmandu. We retrace the same route—Prithvi Highway to arrive at Capital. At noon you can roam around Thamel and purchase gifts for your friends and families. In the evening Regulus will offer farewell dinner. We will stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 11Departure to your country Your trekking ends here today. We will drop you at airport three hours earlier to schedule flight. We are thankful to you as you gave us opportunity to serve. See you soon!
