Why do I need to visit Nepal?
Nepal is an enchanting kingdom, nestled in the Himalayas between China and India. For a small territory, the country boasts an uncommonly diverse terrain, including 8 of the world's top 10 highest mountains. Nepali folklore is often illustrated in dance and music and the people are open to sharing their traditions. Although tourism is steadily increasing, Nepal's remote location has kept the culture widely unaffected by outside influences.
Is there any best time to visit Nepal?
The peak seasons for trekking are the spring (Mar to May) and the fall (Sept to Nov) when you'll have clear skies and superb mountain views. Keep in mind, that this is also when the trails are most crowded (although there are ways to avoid the crowds). The winter (Dec to Feb) and summer (Jun to Aug) months are also great times to visit—although the weather can be unpredictable, these months offer a unique experience and fewer crowds. For Chitwan (Nepal's southern jungle region), winter is the best time to visit when the temperatures are pleasant and the foliage less dense to allow for better wildlife sightings. Do I need a visa to visit Nepal?
Yes. The Nepal visa is purchased upon arrival in Kathmandu or at the Nepal border. The cost is $25 for a 15-day multiple entry visa and is payable in USD.
How can I get my visa for Nepal visit?
For most nationalities, you can get your visa on arrival in Kathmandu. It takes around 45 minutes and is the most convenient way to get your visa. You can also apply for a visa in advance from a local Nepali consulate in your country if you'd like to have everything arranged in advance.
Are vaccinations required?
Immunizations are not required to visit Nepal. (Exception: if you are traveling from an area infected with Yellow Fever, you must have a certificate.) Depending on the season and region of travel, certain vaccinations and/ or medications are suggested and we will recommend preventative measures. We do encourage all travelers to be current on routine immunizations. Also, we recommend the Tetanus and Hepatitis A vaccine. Though still rare, Malaria is increasing in Nepal. The elevation of Kathmandu and places of greater altitude are too high for the species of mosquito that carries malaria. However, when visiting lowland areas, preventive treatment and tropical strength insect repellent are advised. Is a private tour different from group trips?

Do I need to learn the Nepalese language for Nepal visit?
Nepali is the official language. It has roots in Sanskrit and is written in the Devanagari script. English is understood by most people in the cities. In the villages, different ethnic groups speak their own languages. So you need not learn Nepali for a Nepal visit.
What are the luggage criteria on domestic flights in Nepal?
For mountain flights, you're allowed 5 kg. for carry-on and 10 kg. for checked-in luggage. For non-mountain sector flights, the check-in allowance increases to 20-25 kg. (More information)
What would be the ideal time or days to spend in Nepal?
If you're mainly looking to experience Nepal's cultural and natural highlights, you can have a great experience in 5-7 days, where you can visit two regions (likely, Pokhara and Kathmandu). To get into the Himalayas on a multi-day trek, you'll want at least 10 days to have enough time to reach higher altitudes and safely acclimatize. To undertake one of the longer, classic treks in Nepal or to combine multiple regions and activities into one visit, 14-20 days is ideal.

What would be the packing list for Nepal travel?
It all depends on your destination and season of travel. Generally speaking, Nepal is a conservative country. We recommend that travelers not wear clothing that is too short, tight, or revealing. Medium-weight and easy-to-wash cotton are recommended year-round in the Kathmandu valley. From October to February, we also suggest woolen sweaters, jackets, or similar warm outfits. Pack comfortable walking shoes, including sandals and athletic shoes. A head cover may be required for women and men at sacred sites and places of worship. For trekking and adventure itineraries, a list of suggested clothing items and supplies will be provided.
Do I need to book hotels prior or these are included in the trip?
