01DayKathmandu – Zhangmu

The initial three days will be spent for paper formalities and documentation for visa process to explore Tibet. After spending some time in hotel we move straight to Kodari, Nepal China border. Finishing all the formalities we cross friendship bridge to the city of Zhangmu. You will be transferred to hotel. Overnight in Zhangmu.

02DayZhangmu – New Tingri

After having breakfast we will head towards Xeger. On the way we will cross Nyalam Pass and Lulung Pass. It covers the distance of 250 km which takes around 8 hours continuous drives. However, the journey is long but it is not boring as you can encounter different natural beauties. The view of Mt. Everest will make you go crazy as it might be the best view you have ever come across. Overnight in a hotel.

03DayNew Tingri – Shigatse

Today is also a long driving day. You will go to Shigatse which lies 244 km away from New Tingri. The entire distance is covered within 8 hours of drive. We will reach Shigatse and stay in a hotel.

04DayShigatse – Gyantse

After breakfast we will go to visit Tahilhunpo Monastery and jam-packed market at Shigatse. After spending some time here we drive towards Gyantse which is at a distance of 90 km. The time bound to reach Gyantse is around 2 hours. After arriving at Gyantse we go to hotel for refreshment. Then we will go to visit Palkhor Monastery and Kumbum SDtupa. Overnight in hotel.

05DayGyantse – Lhasa

Waking up early in the morning we go to another tight scheduled journey to capital city of Lhasa. Crossing through Karo Pass, Kamba Pass and Yamdruk Lake,we arrive at Lhasa by scaling 8 hours ride covering 260 km. we will go to hotel. Overnight in Lhasa.

06DayIn Lhasa

After tasting a Tibetan cuisine breakfast we gear ourselves up to visit the wonderful sculptures and architectural beauty of Tibet. We will visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. We get back to hotel after the sightseeing. Overnight in hotel.

07DayIn Lhasa

Today’s day is also set for sightseeing Lhasa city. Various sites such as Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery and Norbulingka are the major highlights of the day. If available some time we try for unique Tibetan items like Thangka paintings and other stuffs like Tibetan Knife as well. We get back to Hotel and spend the night.

08DayLhasa – Kathmandu

It is a final day of our tour. Today is a day for departure. We will get back to Kathmandu.
