If things go as per plan then on the same day we will visit Rinpung Dzong and Kichu Lhakhang. It (Rinpung Dzong) is the largest Monastery which once used to be fortress. Moreover, Kichu Lhakhang is a Himalayan Temple. It is located in Lamgong Gewog.
On the next day we will visit Taktsang Monastery. The literal meaning of Taktsang is Tiger’s Nest in English. This monastery is built at a cave in cliff. It is a place where Guru Rimpoche (Padmasambhava) meditated. He (Guru Rinpoche) is the Buddhist Legend who also meditated in the Muktinath of Nepal. This artistically built monastery was built in a porch of a rock in eighth century. It is a popular and renowned pilgrimage site of Bhutanese people. It is said that Guru Rinpoche got here flying on the Tigress back and meditated for three months.
Furhtermore, the visit to Kinchu Temple will please you a lot. Renowned Tibetan King Tshrongchong Gampo built this temple along with other 108 temples. Legends say that demons disturbed the course of spreading Buddhism and to get rid of those demons the king built these temples.

Day 01Arrival to Paro You arrive at Paro through Druk Air. The pure and natural view of mountains during your flight fascinates you. The representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to hotel. With the availability of leisure time, we will visit Rinpung Dzong and Kichu Lhakang. Rinpung Dzong is regarded as largest Buddhist Monastery. Similarly Kichu Lakhang is famous Himalayan templke located at Lamgong Gewong.
Day 02Hike to Tiger’s Nest/Drive to Thimpu Our Bhutan tour officially begins today by visiting Taktsang Monastery. This monastery is built nearby cave where Guru Rimpoche meditated for long period. Rimpoche is a same person who came from Tibet to meditate in Muktinath in Nepal. Built in eighth century this site is taken as a pilgrimage among Bhutanese people. This site attracts many tourists as it is placed in a beautiful part of Bhutan. We move forward to visit Kinchu temple. The temple was built by Tibetan emperor Shrangchong Gampo in seventh century. It is believed that demons created a scene while spreading Buddhism. In order to destroy the demon, he built 108 temples on the body. Today we even drive to Thimpu. Driving for around 2 hours we arrive here. This place attracts tourist as the houses and building here are so colorful. Spending some time here we get back to Paro. Overnight in Paro
