Nepal Jungle Safari
Nepal is one of the best destinations to watch various wildlife, birds and reptiles in natural state. The geography of Nepal stretches from mountains to the low land of Terai which make ample of space for the wild animals to roam around freely. The fresh water system and the wetlands of the country attract various species of migrant animals and birds.
There are all total of 10 national parks in the country which in combined cover around 11,000 square kilometer area of Nepal. The name of those National Parks is listed below:

Besides, there is one more Hunting Reserve in Nepal known as Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve. It stretches around 1,325 sq. km.
All of these protected areas envelop forested land of Nepal. They are situated in various altitudes from the low land of terai to mountains. Due to this reason these place are rich in biodiversity.
Botanists have identified 1,120 and 5,160 species of nonflowering and flowering plants in Nepal so far. Nepal ranks 10th in terms of flowering plant diversity in Asia.
Similarly, according to zoologist, there are 181 species mammals, more than 900 species of birds, 100 reptiles, 43 species of amphibians and 185 species of fishes. It is also reported that there are more than 650 species of butterflies in Nepal.
A forementioned reasons simply illustrates that Nepal is ideal place for jungle safari where there are more than 200 Royal Bengal Tigers, 600 one horned rhino, more than 250 species of sloth bear among other animals.Elephant back safari,elephant bathing, canoeing, nature walks, bird watching, visit to elephant breeding center, excursions, and visit to an ethnic Tharu village in the Jungle Safari Park are the activities which are included in Jungle Safari in Nepal.
