• Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m / 4,264 ft) - Welcome to Nepal

    Our representative will be waiting for you at the airport. You will be taken to your hotel after arrival. After a brief rest, we will you to your trekking guide who will be responsible to give you information and escort you throughout your trek. You will be seeing each other a lot over the next three weeks. As this is the only day you will be spending in the capital prior to the trek, we will give you last-minute detail for the trek over the dinner.

  • Day 2 Kathmandu sightseeing

    From the second day of your arrival starts our trip mission. Today you visit Kathmandu, also known as a city of temples with our guide. Basically there are four major touring sites in Kathmandu. They are Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhunath Stupa and Bouddhanath Stupa. And the main part is these all four sites are listed in the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will be introduced to your guide by Regulus. You can have a good conversation with him regarding the upcoming trip. You can enjoy the nightlife of Thamel which completely depends on your wish. Overnight in Thamel.

  • Day 3 Kathmandu to Jiri (187 km) drive

     The drive from Kathmandu to Jiri is around Seven hours covering the distance of 187 kilometers. Jirel people are known as the local people of Jiri. They follow cross cultural link with Sherpa and Sunuwar. Basically they are Tibeto-Burman.

  • Day 4 JIRI TO BHANDAR


    On this day you begin with a steep trail. You need to go downhill towards a schoolhouse at Sangabadanda. You will also be taking rest in between. There are tea and coffee available on the way. A short energy gaining break, and we will go towards a muddy trail to Deurali. After the walk, you will stop for lunch. You will pass through Buddhist villages on this day and take rest at Bhandar during the night.

  • Day 5 BHANDAR TO SETE (2,575m/8,450 ft)

    The day starts with a downhill walk towards Dokharpa after breakfast. The trail passes through the valley to Likhu Khola. After a few hours of hike, we reach Kinja, where you will have lunch. After this short rest, we will do a steep climb to Lamjura, and then Chimbu. A few walks from ChimbuLamjura, then to Chimbu. You will continue to Setu, which is another stopover for trekkers. Situated on the height of 2940 meters, this place offers you amazing views after laborious climbing in the day.

  • Day 6 SETE TO LAMJURA PASS, JUNBESI

    Here’s another steep and challenging climb. The difficulties in the trial will be followed by magnificent views. The forest is filled with maple and rhododendron plants. The fragrance of the flowers is simply amazing. After reaching Dagchu, you will get a bit of rest. Here, you will take rest near a calm pond. After a few minutes, its time to get back to hike, go through Goyom on the way to Junbesi. Lukla is not so far from here. You will know this before you reach there. You will hear the sound of planes coming from Manthali.

  • Day 7 JUNBESI: ACCLIMATIZATION

    As the last few days were very hectic and rough, now the time comes for some break. This is the day for acclimatization. You will be staying over in Junbesi today. This rest will help you adjust to the higher altitude, restore your energy and prepare you for the upcoming trek. Nearby is Tashi Thongmom Gompa. You will gain insights into history by visiting this Gompa. You will get to see JUnbesi Secondary School, the biggest school in this area if you opt for the hike. Hiking this short, you will get to know more about the locals here. The day’s hike is however optional

  • Day 8 JUNBESI TO NUNTHALA (2,020m)

    Back to the challenge, back to lots of hikes. Early morning, you will exit from your accommodation and cross Junbesi Khola. Heading towards Khumbu through an uphill trial, you will an amazingly beautiful place where there are deep pine forests and rustic cow pastures. You will walk towards Phurteng and here, we have our lunch. From here, you will get a glimpse of Mt Everest for the first time. Also, you will see the peak of Mera and Kantega as well. Your night stay will be at Nunthala. To reach Nunthala you will pass through a lot of shepherd’s huts and forest scenery.

  • Day 9 NUNTHALA TO BUPSA

    The trek starts along the Dudh Koshi River in the morning. You pass through farmlands and forest and walk towards Phuleli. After a morning break, you will cross the river and then there begins trial alongside several crop fields of maize, barley, and wheat. The path will take you to Jubing. The crop terraces continue towards Bupsa. On the way, you will experience a beautiful oak forest. The day ends in Bupsa where you will accommodate.

  • Day 10 BUPSA TO LUKLA

    Early morning, you will begin your journey towards  Surkhe . You will hike through the lush forests moving forward to  Kharte , which is a Sherpa village. Continuing the walk, you will reach Khari La pass. You will find caves in between where you will take a short rest. Following the further path, you will reach Surkhe and then Lukla, where you will stay overnight. Lukla is the junction where your group as well the climbers coming via flight meet.

  • Day 11 LUKLA TO PHAKDING (3,440 m/11,280 ft)

    Today the walk will be relaxed compared to walk in the earlier days. The initial walk through Chaurikharka will take you to Dudh Koshi Ghat. The trial runs along the Dudh Koshi. Following the trial near the river, you will reach Phakding, which is a popular stop for tourists. Phakding is today’s destination where you will stay for acclimatization. You will spend the rest of the time here today.

  • Day 12 PHAKDING TO NAMCHE BAZAAR

    After breakfast in Phakding, you will be moving to reach Namche Bazaar, which is a destination for today. Namche Bazaar is a touristic point where you can buy all last-minute essentials. To reach the place, you will first cross the Dudh Koshi River through a long suspension bridge. Following this, you will reach a beautiful pine forest to Monjo. You are around two hours away from Namche Bazaar. After a few minutes of walking from here, you will reach the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. Here your permits will be checked. Then you walk down the hill towards Dudh Kosi River. On the way, you will find many Mani stones. You will walk towards Jorsale. You will have lunch here. The next point to be reached is Namche, which is uphill from Jorsale. Here again, comes swaying suspension bridge. Here, you will cross two suspension bridges. One of them is Hillary Suspension Bridge. The climbing is tough here. And you reach the beautiful arch-shaped village now. Namche is not just a colorful market, it also provides amazing view of Mt Everest.

  • Day 13 NAMCHE BAZAAR : ACCLIMATIZATION

    Take a good break here at Namche. Today is a day for acclimatization. At this point, you will need a rest to become acclimatized to the higher altitudes. You can spend the day at Namche. You will check out the Sherpa museum. You will get more insights here about the history of mountaineering and also Sherpa culture. Also, if you reach on any Saturday, a Hatt Bazaar will be open for trading. Hatt bazaar will be an opportunity to see the locals.

  • Day 14 Namche to Tengboche (3,860 m)

    After Breakfast at Namche Bazaar, you will be prepared to go towards Everest Base Camp today. From here, you will get breathe taking views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kwangde. Today’s destination is Phortse, which is known as the most beautiful place in the Everest region. You will see a great view of Amadablam from this place.

  • Day 15 Tengboche TO DINGBOCHE

    Today’s trial is alongside the Imja Khol River. Walking near the glacial blue waters will be amazing experience. You will gradually climb towards the village of Pangboche which is the biggest settlement for Sherpas in the region. While having lunch, you will get to talk to them. During this short rest period, you can hike up to Tangboche monastery. The trek which is later in the afternoon is a difficult one. The terrain starts getting dry, the mountains are deserted.

    The hike begins towards Dingboche. There is also an alternate way especially for winter when there is snow on the trail. The alternate way is via Debouche and Tengboche.

  • Day 16 DINGBOCHE : ACCLIMATIZATION

    As this is a long you need frequent acclimatization while your journey to the top. This will be your last day for acclimatization. You can rest for the full day and also go a short hike towards Chhukung and Imja which are the surrounding valleys of Dingboche.  Imja connects to the high passes of Amphu Lapts and Makalu Barun National Park. The short hike will give you the opportunity to see beautiful views. However, take it easy on this day. Take enough rest so that you can restore all your energy for the next day’s hike.

  • Day 17 DINGBOCHE TO LOBUCHE


    The trek gets more difficult with the increasing altitude. You will walk through and reach Dungla. To reach Dungla, you need to do a steep walk to on the top of a hill you will find memorial stupas which are dedicated to the climbers and trekkers who lost lives to Everest over the years. You will then move towards craggy mountain terrain to Lobuche. Lobuche is a small village which offers beautiful views of Mt. Lobuche, Mt. Pumari and the Nuptse. The evenings are very chilly here. You will accommodate in this village today.

  • Day 18 LOBUCHE TO GORAKSHEP, EBC & EBC TO GORAKSHEP

    Today’s initial trial will be relatively easy compared to yesterday. Lobuche to Gorekshep. The trek which comes at the later point of the day is a bit challenging. The straight trail to Everest Base Camp has rocky dunes. ON the way, you will see experience in the Khumbu glacier and icefall. Enjoy the amazing view, click the moment, and embrace the mountain and talk to the ones who have come to attempt climbing Mount Everest here.

  • Day 19 GOREKSHEP TO KALAPATHAR AND PHERICHE OR PANBOCHE

    You need to wake up before dawn to go towards Kalapathar ( meaning black rock in Nepali). The target for today morning is to watch a glorious sunrise above the Everest. The first ray of the sun will touch Nuptse Nup, Changtse and Lhotse. You will definitely not want to miss the capture of the spectacular moment in your life. spend enough time, click pictures from every angle and create beautiful moments here which you can recall throughout your life. After this, you will go back to Gorekshep for Gorakshep. You will walk downwards towards Pheriche. You will stay at Pheriche on this day. You may also walk further if all your group is ready to move further down. If you walk, the final stop will be Panboche. The speed will be quicker as we are going downwards. The trial is also comparatively easy.

  • Day 20 PHERICHE TO NAMCHE BAZAAR

    As you are returning, the trial will be mainly downhill. From Pheriche to Tengboche you need to go downwards. The time taken for this will be shorter than the time you took while going to the base camp. By late afternoon you will reach Namche. At Namchhe you can buy Tibetan artefacts to take to your home as reminisce of the mountains.

  • Day 21 NAMCHE TO PHAKDING, LUKLA

    The trial begins the early morning after breakfast. You will cross Hillary Suspension Bridge. Also, there are a lot of local villages you will pass where you can short tea break. When you reach Lukla, you will come to a hotel. You can party, dance or celebrate accomplishment in your own way. This will be the final day in the mountains.

  • Day 22 Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

    Today is a day to get back to Kathmandu. We will catch a flight from Lukla. The air distance is about half an hour and you reach Kathmandu enjoying your glorious journey. You can even enjoy in Kathmandu for some time and roam around. In the evening the staff of Regulus will offer you a farewell dinner for successfully completing your trip.

  • Day 23 Departure to your country

    Finally your Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trekking bids a good bye here. A representative of Regulus will drop you to airport few hours before your scheduled flight. See you again!
